NYSCAL Offers Three-Part Series on ALP Operations

Please join NYSCAL for three different classes on the Assisted Living Program- “Getting Started, Operations and OMIG.

The first session is September 14, 2016 at NYSCAL’s Fall Regional Meeting.  This session is free and open to both members and non-members.  Carla Williams, MPA, Director of Healthcare Consulting, O’Connell and Aronowitz, will provide valuable information on ALP requirements for new start-ups; real life compliance issues; quality recording keeping; and billing....

The second part of this series will be held during the NYSHFA/NYSCAL Fall Conference, November 15-16, 2016 at the Albany Marriott, Albany, NY.  The brochure and registration materials for this conference are in development and will be sent to all providers no later than early September and will be posted on our website.

The third and final part of the series is an Audio Conference on December 8, 2016 (10 am-noon) on the Office of the Medicaid Inspector (OMIG) and its role in ALP operations and audits.  This session will be presented by David Ross, Esq,. O’Connell and Aronowitz.  Again, the brochure and registration materials are in development and will be sent to all providers in early Fall and will be posted on our website.
